About Stoney Street Studios

Stoney Street Studios are a new flexible working space, offering hassle-free serviced offices in Nottingham's Lace Market. The Grade II listed former mill building was designed by prominent Nottingham architect Thomas Sutton in 1845. It has been converted as part of a £2.5 million renovation into six floors of luxury apartments on the upper floors, and our contemporary business space in the lower ground.

The 300ft2 Lace Market office has been divided into two open coworking areas, with a coffee bar, plus five private meeting rooms, capable of accommodating 4 to 12 people.

Every aspect of the layout and facilities have been designed with the user in mind. Highlights include private lockers and showers, LED lighting, smart access, high speed internet and all the essentials our members need to work flexibly.

The Lace Market office home of Stoney Street Studios is a hub for Nottingham’s creative industries and digital innovators. The oldest part of the city, the Lace Market was originally a world-recognised quarter-mile square for making, selling and storing intricate lace. Today it is a protected heritage area and full of impressive 19th century architecture. Cafes, eateries and bars are right on the doorstep, nestled alongside an eclectic range of independent retailers.

The city’s arts, theatre and entertainment venues are close by too, including the award-winning National Justice Museum, the Nottingham Contemporary, and the Broadway cinema.

Nottingham train station is less than a 10 minute stroll from our coworking studio, or a five minute drive. The Lace Market tram stop is just a few minutes up the road too, with a range of multistorey parking options if needed.
